Are you in the business, manufacturing or industry field? If so, and if you haven’t yet had your chance to take courses in Six Sigma, you do not want to miss this opportunity to add a nationally recognized program to your resume.
Sig Sigma brings you or your company/organization to the next level with improved quality of process outputs. Identify and remove the causes of errors and minimize variation in manufacturing and business processes.
This month, Glendale Community College will be offering courses for two different levels of Six Sigma: Lean Plus Green and Black Belt (DMAIC).
In Lean Plus Green, you will receive 40 hours of training and discuss the four goals of Lean Systems: improve quality, eliminate waste, reduce time and reduce cost. This is the core of the Six Sigma philosophy used by a variety of manufacturers. You will also receive a Six Sigma Lean Plus Green Belt designation and Award of Completion upon graduation.
In Black Belt (DMAIC), you will be able to explain Six Sigma philosophies and principles, including supporting systems and tools. In addition, you will demonstrate team leadership, understand team dynamics and assign team member roles and responsibilities. Graduates of this course will receive an Award of Completion as well as a Six Sigma Black Belt designation.
Lean Plus Green runs 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. Monday-Friday March 21-25. The course number to sign up is 54582.
